Ropewalk

In 1810 Millington and James Littlewood are listed for a rope house, rope walk, houses and wharf. It seems likely that the ropewalk predates this since Millington were leasing land before this date. The ropewalk appears to follow the line of the Common Sewer along the southern edge of Bendish Marsh
